Oral Histories: Voices of Glen Cove

Since 2009, the Glen Cove Public Library has worked to preserve the voices of Glen Cove's past. We have collected interviews with people from the Glen Cove area - including mayors, politicians, merchants, lifelong residents, etc. These interviews capture the personalities, poignant personal stories, and behind-the-scenes decision-making that brings history to life. Transcripts of the oral history interviews are accessible in the Robert R. Coles Long Island History Room.
